Hello!  Today I’m sharing another Valentine’s Card using an adorable set called “I love chocolate” by Your Next Stamp.  I’m participating in their current challenge called “Share the Love” as well as the challenge over at Time Out Challenges with the theme “Affectionate”

Hello and happy Tuesday!

My card today features one of my all-time favorite stamp sets with it’s coordinating dies.  It’s from a Monthly Hero set by Hero Arts that came out last year.  So I’m joining their monthly challengewith it

And I was inspired by a new challenge I found for my design!  The Flower challenge!  Their current challenge is “Shaped cards”.

So I used the chalkboard dies in the kit to create a little chalkboard stand card!

With the cute little pots and crate of flowers and the heart balloons, this is just the perfect little card to write a message of love in!

I used Zig Clean color markers for my coloring and to add a fun touch to the balloons, I covered them in glossy accents and touched the gloss with heat from my heat tool.  It gives them a mylar balloon look!

I love the sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches! 

I pulled out this super cute die from The Stamp Market and it worked perfectly for the sketch!

The square shape added a fun element

There’s no stamping on this card – just the cute die cuts and a few enamel dots

A simple “Thanks” card is always good to have in the stash!

Hello!  It’s time to get the lovey dovey cardmaking mojo going! Valentines Day is on it’s way and I was inspired by 3 different challenges to pull a fun, heart-filled card together.  The first challenge is the Wednesday Sketch Challenge by My Favorite Things 

The second challenge was also by My Favorite Things!  It’s their current Color Challenge which is PERFECT for Valentines Day cards!

And finally, over atTime Out Challenges, their inspiration photo was just adorable.  I absolutely loved the banner and really bounced off that!

So with those 3 challenges in front of me, I got stamping!  Here is my first Valentines Card for the year

I used the birthday set by My Favorite Things “Sending Sweet Celebration Wishes” as well as the coordinating dies.  The artist, Stacy Yacula, creates the most adorable images!!  In order to alter this little guy, I simply omitted the birthday hat when inking and then carefully cut off that hat part once I had cut it out.  It worked perfectly!

It was really fun to use these 3 challenges on one card!

I haven’t played along with C(ASE) this Sketch in a long time! And this sketch looked so fun to use with some new products that I’ve been excited to pull out

 

One of those products is the new Catherine Pooler Mini Snowflake cover die, and with the sketch and this die, I had an idea come quick!

With the sketch in mind, I used the rectangular shape of the die instead of an oval. 

I need to make a few of these! I have several loved ones with winter birthdays and this was such an easy card to whip up

I’m so excited that I was picked by Sugarpea designs as one of their top 3 for their last challenge!

How exciting!

And I’m also sharing one more card with the Lucky Me floral stamp by Catherine Pooler

I was so excited to be invited to be a guest Club Ambassador for 2 months for the CPDesigns Club Sursee! This amazing floral bouquet came in the December Club Sursee and is just gorgeous. 

I used paper from the Spring in Bloom paper pack and the little embellishments are from the Springfield sequin mix

And I love how perfectly the Melon Ice glitter matches! Added such a nice sparkle to this card

So grateful I had the opportunity to play and share with these products! I will definitely be using them more in the future!

Happy New Year!! I had so fun sitting down to my stamp desk after the busy holiday season.  I pulled out one of my new stamp sets by Gina K to join in on her Monthly Mix Challenge for January!

The challenge is to take an old card and use at least one element from it to make a new card. I chose an old card that I made nearly 3 years ago. Here’s my “then” card

I took the idea to put a floral arrangement on an oval with a die cut word and here’s my “now” card

I used the beautiful “Something Good” stamp set by Gina K as well as the “friend” die

I’ve always loved doing floral arrangements and have done several for different events.  Doing these types of cards reminds me of that other kind of designing I love to do!

This is my first time playing along with the SugarPea Designs Mix it up Challenge and I am so excited!  I love the sketch and I love the color combo!

So here’s my take on the challenge

I used the adorable Eskimo Kisses stamp set and just love the little penguins in it!

I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers to color the sweet images on my card

When Erika, over at Stamp Nation, posted this weekend’s color challenge, I had to try it out!  It just looked so pretty to me!

Isn’t that gorgeous?!!

So I pulled out my November Club Sursee and used the “So Much Possibility” stamp set to add some pretty diamonds as a background.  Then I used the Boughs and Berries stamp set from the Catherine Pooler Christmas release to create some pretty foliage and flowers as a little cluster of these colors.

I just love how it came together!  I would never have thought of these colors together.  In fact, I don’t think of grabbing blues and purples nearly enough! It was so fun to stretch myself with this challenge!

I love being part of Stamp Nation because of these challenges and the other fun things to be part of over there!

There was a bonus day for the 25 days of Christmas tags! Day 26 featured a company who has such cute images – Hello Bluebird!

I was totally inspired by the penguin tag set that Suzy Plantamura made for Day 26!  So stinkin cute!  So with that inspiration, I pulled out the “Little Frosties” set again and this time I made a set of tags.

Isn’t that die cut behind them perfect?! It’s the “Confetti Circle” by Simon Says Stamp

I had an absolute blast putting these together!  And there is a quick video glimpse of that happening over on my Instagram!
