Happy Birthday you sweet thing

Hi stamping friends! Today I decided to stretch myself with a color that I rarely use – purple. I just don’t seem to grab for it and when I do, I often feel like it’s too bright. But Color Hues posted a challenge that prompted my thought to give it a try again and to put it with purple!

I chose a rosy colored shade of red and a lighter more orchid color of purple to focus on

I used the amazing set by Pink Fresh Studio called Blossoms and Berries. It’s so incredible! It’s one huge long clear stamp with lots of images on it. And then the coordinating die is one big thing that cuts them all out at once! I absolutely love it. And because you get so many images out of one pass through the die cut machine, there’s plenty to make 2 cards, which is what I did today here.

I actually loved the way this rosy red and lighter purple look together! I may possibly even feel like maybe I could try the deeper shades of both after having done these cards! I love the wreath card but I think the first one is my favorite with the florals in the corners

And now I have 2 birthday cards ready to grab! I always need those in a pinch

And now I have a new color combo I like! Thanks for stopping by to visit. I’ll be back tomorrow with a peak at something fun!!

Double Trouble 100th Challenge!

Hey all! It’s an exciting time over at Double Trouble Challenge blog! It’s challenge #100 and you’ll want to jump in and participate in a couple different ways

First, Thing 1 has us getting snuggly! Layers layers layers! And we need those in real life here – it’s freezing where I am at! I got very layery with my card by using different paper, die cuts and and textures

I used this cute Lawn Fawn set full of hugging and snuggling critters called “Happy Hugs”. My color scheme was based on the colored hearts on the background paper that came from my stash. It got me out of my norm and I love when something can do that! It’s one of the reasons I love Double Trouble so much – it really stretches everyone to think of new ideas beyond what they usually do

Thing 3 wants to see “warm and cozy” – pick something that’s fun to snuggle up with!! When I started thinking of my favorite, my husband is at the top of the list! I like to snuggle him most. So these darling little critters that show they are cuddling = perfect

For this challenge, we are partnering with “Bitten by the Bug“. They love to see pieces that are cut with cricut! But while partnering with us, they make a deal that it can be any cut other than fussy cut. So pull out those cricuts, dies, and punches and use those elements on your card! Be sure that you enter your card with them as well

One more fun thing you will want to know about this special 100th challenge – we are each giving away some blog candy! To be eligible, you must comment on our 100th challenge blog posts. Each of us will pick one winner from our commenters to send something fun to! More details about all of this fun can be found over at Double Trouble so head there to read more

I absolutely love being part of the Double Trouble design team. Their challenges are so much fun and stretch each of us past our normal ways of making cards and gives such fun little ideas to add to the challenge! If you haven’t tried these challenges out yet, this one is a great one to start with!

Thanks for stopping by to see my card and we hope to see YOUR card in our gallery!

Inky hugs 🙂

Thanks!

Hi everyone! How are your Christmas cards wrapping up? Most everyone has them finished or almost finished and now it’s time to think of thanking for all the wonderful things others do around us to make our season bright 🙂

Reverse Confetti’s Stock Your Stash challenge is just that this month! Thank you cards

The set I chose to play with is Happy Mail. It’s a darling set perfect for decorating envelopes all cute but today I used it in an alternate way and made my thank you card with it

The floral sits perfectly along the bottom of the Square Thanks die and the embellished corner coordinates nicely. I was inspired by the color challenge over at the current Color Throwdown challenge and they worked so great for my card!

I love these pretty colors together!

I used the third floral cluster in the set to embellish the inside of my card – something I forget to do usually. But I’ve been wanting to be sure to include a cute thing inside lately to I’m working on remembering to keep going even when the front is done!

That sentiment on the inside comes from the Snowy Sentiments set, which is one of the FREE stamp set options when you spend $60 in the Reverse Confetti store! (It’s sooo easy to do lol)

So, grab your Reverse Confetti stamps (or order some new goodies from them!) and start creating some thank you cards. They always come in handy and are probably the card I use the most of all.

Thanks for stopping by!

Celebrating

Happy Sunday everyone! I had so much fun playing with a new-to-me product. I don’t know how long these stamps and dies have been out by Pink Fresh Studio but wowza!!!! I saw them when scrolling through their shop during a sale and I was mesmerized!!

All the florals are one image and they are so beautiful!! The, there’s one huge die cut that cuts them all at once! You wouldn’t necessarily need to use them all on the same project as it would be awesome to have some set aside to have on hand for a quick card. But for my card today I did use all the images

The blanket stitched circle dies are so cute and are also from Pink Fresh. I raised up the middle one for dimension and to tuck some of the floral underneath. After arranging the pretty wreath, I added the sentiment and some dew drops

I felt the same fun feeling as arranging dance or wedding floral! Only this takes a hundredth of the time! It’s always better working with paper lol 🙂

I bought another set like this that I can’t wait to use too! I’ve got a lot of projects awaiting my attention so hopefully it will be sooner than later that I get to play with the other one! Thanks for stopping by to see this one today!

Head to my Instagram to see a video of this one coming together!

Snow glad we’re friends

Hi everyone! Did you get the fun new products in the November release from Reverse Confetti? Well we are back with another fun hop full of more inspiration of projects you can make with them! So whether you have them or want them – hop along and enjoy!

My card today uses the Open Drop Cover Panel Confetti Cuts, Polar Party stamps and dies, Snowflake Season stamps and dies, and the Snowy Sentiments set.

I used only the center of the Open Drop Cover Panel and it was perfect as a little “frame” around these cute little polar friends

That perfect sentiment is from the Snowy Sentiments set and it’s free right now with any $60 purchase from the Reverse Confetti store!

I added glitter to the 3 snowflakes for some wintry shimmer and some cloudy ink blending to give some added shading to the minty cardstock that my panel is mounted on.

I’ve had so much fun keeping these products out to play with and they make for the most darling winter and Christmas cards!

Be sure to keep hopping along for more inspiration! You will be so happy that you did! Next up is Dana Kirby

You’re so sweet!

Hi everyone! Did you know that the Reverse Confetti Stock your Stash challenge is going on right now?! It’s so fun to look at the prompt and get some cards done for your stash. And with their cute products, it’s always easy to put something fabulous together!

I chose the absolutel sweetest set “Cookies and Milk” for my creation today

I used the rounded stitched window to create the little setup behind this sweet scene of bears eating cookies together

I got all my inspiration from the Double Trouble Challenge prompts that started today!

Thing 1 made the fun suggestion to look at a fun special event day that is coming up in December. They are always so random and even funny sometimes! I chose the December 18th theme – “Bake Cookies Day” to center my creation around. That’s why this set fit so perfectly!

Thing 3 gave an optional twist that was quite a bit more difficult – add numbers. I couldn’t come up with a way to add numbers that I liked at all. So I turned to the envelope…

This Thank you card is also going to be a birthday card for my ever fabulous daughter who will be turning 17 coming up in a couple weeks! She has done so much for me and truly is the sweetest thing. I can’t wait to fill this card with things I’m grateful for about her! I call her my Sagittarius sidekick lol. I think she’s going to love the card!

Be sure to get stamping with your Reverse Confetti products to make Thank you Cards and get over there to share them!

And be sure to also head to Double Trouble to play along with the fun twist and themes over there to get inspiration for you creations.

Thanks for stopping by to see mine today!

Bloom with Grace

Thing 1 is giving us a Something Anything Everything challenge starting today with Double Trouble! We all love those! There’s some little twist to give some inspiration if you want to play along with those too

Thing 3 has a fun idea. Look at the card in the above graphic. Pick something about it that you can implement in your card.

I chose the layout, enamel dots, the long banner, and the dry embossing

This cute set and dies is from Close to my Heart. And speaking of – I chose a challenge that highlights their products to link up with. It’s the Color My Heart Color Dare challenge. Thing 2 wants to see you join in with a previous challenge partner like this so be sure to head to Double Trouble to see the list of previous partners 🙂

I chose the gray, navy, yellow, and green color blocks from their challenge

I have definitely fallen in love with cowgirl boots and this cute image that has sunflowers planted in one is just so cute!

And that wraps up this card! Thank you for coming by to see it. Be sure to enter a card!

🙂 Kellianne

Thanks!

Reverse Confetti has their Stock Your Stash challenge going on! Have you grabbed some goodies from their new release yet?

I used this adorable polar bear from the Polar Party stamp set!

The snowflakes are also from the new Snowflake Season stamps and dies

That cute “Thanks” die is also by Reverse Confetti and goes with a million things. It’s definitely one of my favorites and this will make such a cute winter thank you card for someone. I’m always needing thank you cards!! Those little dots you see are “Diamond Dotz” that are for the diamond crafting that seems to be all the craze. But there are so many cute colors that I added some to my stash to go on some cards! I actually really love them! They are a fun alternate to sequins, which I’m also crazy about

Go through your Reverse Confetti supplies, pull out any of your Winter or Holiday goodies and get creating so you can go enter it into the Stock Your Stash card making challenge 🙂

Thank you for stopping by today!

Hey You! Peekaboo card

Hello stamping friends! I’m back with another Double Trouble round of fun!

For this challenge, we are playing peekaboo!

I pulled off the peekaboo theme by using a flap-open die by My Favorite Things. It only cuts around the 3 edges and then scores it on the other edge

Then you can open it up to something adorable!

This cute little bear and sentiment are from the MFT set called “Bitty Bears”. Thing 3 wants to see twine so I added some thick jute twine and it matches perfect

I was inspired by the color challenge at MFT this week too. I don’t think I’ve made a card with this color palette before so I wanted to try it out! And I love it!

I think it’s a combo that would also be great for a beach card. Maybe I’ll play with that too but for now I just love how it turned out for my simple little card

My clean and simple design was inspired by our challenge partner Try Stampin’ On Tuesday. Their sketches are always fun to stretch your creativity!

We hope you will paly along with us! For all details, visit the Double Trouble Challenge Blog

Have a happy week!

Missing you!

Double Trouble is doing something FUN! We are participating in the fun over at the big Coffee Lover’s Blog Hop and it starts today!

So Thing 1, Thing 2, and Thing 3 have some twist to give!

Of course the main thing here is Coffee, Tea, or Cocoa. I don’t drink coffee, so I’ll say it’s a cocoa to-go on my card

That cute big to-go cup is an awesome die by Catherine Pooler called “Gift Card To Go” The wrap around is designed to slide off, revealing a gift card that there is slots for. But I didn’t put a gift card in this time. I glue the wrap to the cup and added all the fun floral images

I cut off the right edge to make only part of the cup be part of the card with the inspiration of the sketch that Thing 3 has given as an optional twist to play with over at Try Stampin On Tuesday

The floral images come from the Catherine Pooler set “Blossoms and Thoughts”

I used her gorgeous new Luxe collection of ink pads for this card, including the water coloring. I love water coloring with ink pad ink! The little enamel dots are from Kat Scrapiness – you may have noticed them a lot from me lately. I love them!

Thank you for stopping by to see my card! There’s so much fun going on with this challenge and the other challenges to join up with. Pull out all of your Coffee, Tea, and Cocoa images and dies and come share them with us at Double Trouble, as well as our friends!

Have a happy Friday!
