Today’s card goes along with 2 different challenges that caught my eye this week. We’ve got Color Hues asking for cards made with red and black

I created a little salt and pepper shaker that are a cute little couple

I’ve had this Lawn Fawn set for a long time and haven’t pulled it out in forever! But I was inspired to because of the 2nd challenge cue that I saw by Retro Rubber Challenge Blog

It’s been awhile since I played along with Retro Rubber but they are one of my favorites! So it was time to jump in again and pull out an old set.

The dry embossing on the vertical banner is also an oldie but a goodie in my embossing folder stash. So happy to pull these things back out and give them use!

It’s time for an “Anything Goes” challenge over at Double Trouble! This is always a favorite!

Thing 2 and 3 have some fun twists to put out there to try on your card. Thing 3 wants to see anything but an A2 regular card. There are so many fun options with this! Shaped card, slimline, A7 large card, note care, etc.

I chose to do a slimline cuz I’m just crazy about them

Thing 2 always has a double dare! This time around it is to partner up with another challenge blog that we’ve partnered with before. I chose Try Stampin on Tuesday which is one I like to jump in on every now and then!

I LOVE challenges so when I see these kind that say to use one or the other or both – I choose both!!

I used shades of pink for my monochromatic color and the flowers are positioned in the spots that the ovals show on the sketch

I used stamps and dies by Simon Says Stamp as well as PinkFresh Studio.

I wish you could see the beautiful Wink of Stella pen that I added to the flowers and the hearts die. It glimmers so pretty! The lighting just didn’t catch it though. The recipient will love it though!

I haven’t played with the Gina K monthly challenge in a long time. Well I needed a card for my sweet daughter who just hit her one year mark on her mission! So I pulled out this beautiful seashell set by Gina K and got crafty

The challenge this month is to do the technique where you splatter water on ink and it reacts. It makes a really cool splashed-on look!

I stamped and embossed the seashells (and seaweed) all in white. Then I colored on the back sides of them with copics.

I carefully put precision glue along the embossed lines of the seashells to adhere them to the blended and splattered background

With a few embellishments, my card was complete. My daughter is going to love it! I’m excited to mail it off to her. It’s headed down to Uruguay!

I colored the bouquet with Copics

Today starts a new challenge over at Double Trouble! Check out the fun twists this time around

THREE patterned papers? That’s what Thing 1 wants and it sounded like a way different idea. But it’s sure turning up some cute cards! And as I pulled mine together, I realized it was a pretty fun and different look!

Thing 1 would also like to see you try out her optional twist of using the Try Stampin on Tuesday sketch

That sketch makes it very easy to figure out how to use the 3 pattern papers!

Thing 3 wants to see a penguin! There are so many darling penguin images out there in the stamping world. I’m excited to see them all in the gallery, so I hope you’ll pull out one of yours and use it on your card. My cute little penguins are from a SugarPea Designs stamp set

I think the red and white and black went perfect for this little image. The mini slim size was fun to incorporate into the sketch as well. Hello! Today I have a soft and simple card featuring a new-to-me product – layering stencils!

This wreath is made using the English Garden layering stencils and die by PinkFresh Studio. If I had stamped the stamps first, and then layered the stencil on over it, it would color them perfectly. But today I just wanted to see how it would look stenciled without the images stamped. I love it! It’s such a subtle look

I am playing along with their monthly challenge to pick a challenge from last year to create with. I just the November “Wreaths” prompt because, as you’ve probably noticed, I’m really in to wreaths right now! In my home decor as well as my card designs

The Prayers sentiment is a Hero Arts die. And while I had it out, I cut a whole bunch because I always want to share a prayer 🙂

With a few sequins placed in the wreath, my card was finished, and I’m in love with yet another wreath! (PinkFresh has some REALLY good ones! I’m falling in love with their fabulous products all over again lately!)

I have 2 cards for you today using these fun products. The first is with Love Bugs! You saw this adorable set on the first day of sneak peaks. I just had to keep playing with it and I also used another fun product that is in this release – Lovely Tag

My second card is a die-cuts-only card! No stamps on this one!

This release has got some great Confetti Cuts

I used the Postal Cover, Large Circle of Hearts, and, Layered Lots of Love

I love it when sentiment dies have the frame die with them! It makes for some extra fun things you can do. I like how bold it turned out on my card on top of the Large Circle of Hearts

Today we are featuring “Hello Daisy”

I did a watercolor resist technique for my card and this stamp looks beautiful with it!

I love the hello confetti cut that comes with the flower outline die. It makes it so nice to put the simple sentiment over the top of the bouquet of flowers

This is definitely one of those cards that are so much prettier in person! But this floral bouquet full of happy daisies is just so lovely! I’ve got another card coming up with it that I can’t wait to share. This is going to be a fabulous set for Spring!

Hi again! Did you love all the cards using that darling Love Bugs set? Today we have another sneak peek for you and I absolutely love it!

This set is called Poppies and has such a funky retro feel and I love it!

You see that darling cover plate in the photos? Take a look at how cute it turns out as a background!

It’s called Stitched Daisies and I love how it doesn’t cut through – just gives a subtle stitched floral background to my card for interest!

I definitely chose soft colors for my design on this card. But this evening I’ll be posting a second card on my Instagram using this same set but with a bit bolder color! Be sure to head over there
