Have a Lovely Day

Hello! I’m excited today to be a guest designer for one of my favorite challenges – Retro Rubber. This challenge makes us look through our stashes and use older stamps that still need love!

The theme this time around is Anything Goes

I reached for an old favorite by Stampin’ Up! called Forever Lovely, along with the coordinating dies. I believe that bundle is at least 4 years old but I still love it!

I just love the beautiful die cut that lays over the stamped image. So pretty!

Some soft ink blending, a sentiment, and a few sequins finished up my card

What old stamps can you pull out to play along at Retro Rubber?

Thanks for stopping by!

Clean and Simple flowers

Today’s card is to play along with The Flower Challenge, which is “clean and simple”

I love a good ornate and embellished card, but to sometimes simplify everything and make a CAS card feels so good!

My little branch is from a Spellbinders die set and the little flowers are from a Stampin Up! punch

I always love a tag on cards and it’s a great way to have a nice focal point without being too much on a simple card

With a few sparkles to give interest, and a bow to top the tag – my clean and simple card was finished

Thanks for stopping by to check it out! Hope you are stamping through this Summer!

Merry Christmas bears

Happy Friday! And happy new challenge at Double Trouble

Thing 1 wants to see more Christmas in July! And Thing 3 is giving a fun twist – include a Santa Hat!

I made this fun card that has 3 little envelopes on it. Tucked inside are 3 cute little Christmas bears!

And each of them have on a different Santa hat

I used products my MFT stamps for my card today

Thing 2 has us teaming up with Jingle Belles challenge. So if you made a Christmas card that includes a Santa hat, be sure to link your card there too!

Christmas in July!

It’s that time of year! And Double Trouble is playing along

Thing 1 wants to see Christmas projects! It’s a great time to get them started so that you have a stash by December

Thing 3 has a fun little twist to use on your card – add stars and/or stripes!

I used both. The stars are all glittery and on the postal box and I used a striped background die (mft) as my panel. This next pic shows all the sparkle on my card!

These darling dies are by Spellbinders and were so fun! I loved filling the mailbox full of Christmas foliage

Thing 2 has us teaming up with Jingle Belles Must Be Christmas challenge – which is “Stars and Stripes”

We hope to see lots of Christmas cards in the gallery! Go through your stash and start giving those Christmas sets some love.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Thank you floral

Happy Friday and happy new challenge at Double Trouble!

This is one of the favorites – Thing 1 says Something Anything Everything! So let’s see what you’ve been creating!

My card uses stamps and dies by Simon Says Stamp

There’s a couple of fun twists to try out on your card. Thing 3 wants to see slimline or mini slimline. I chose mini slim!

Head over to Double Trouble and click on their previous partner link. Choose one of our past partners to play along with too! I played along with Use Your Stuff. Their challenge says to use flowers which is my favorite kind of stamping!

I also joined Beautiful Blossoms

Head on over to Double Trouble for more details and to add your creation!

That was so sweet of you!

Today I have a card to share that I made to play along with the PinkFresh Studio monthly challenge.

But first, I want to thank the Retro Rubber Challenge blog for picking my beachy happy birthday card as their top pick in their last challenge!

On to today’s card

I used the Blooming Branch stamp and coordinating die as well as the Simply Diamonds background die – all by PinkFresh Studio. I used the challenge colors as my inspiration

I colored with alcohol markers, and I added some glitter to the blooms for some sparkle on this pretty image

Some scattered sequins and an embossed sentiment, and my card is finished! I love the clean look that this ended up having

Thanks for stopping by! I hope your week is off to a great start!

Beachy Happy Birthday

Happy Friday! It’s time for some summer fun with the new challenge over at Double Trouble!

Thing one wants to see summer projects and Thing 3 challenges you to make sure to include flip flops

I was inspired by Retro Rubber challenge blog to pull out some old stamps.

These are from the “Sparkling Summer” stamps from Stampin Up! This set is over 18 years old!

When I refresh stamps like this, it makes me glad I kept them!! These images look so cute and modern! I love the funky style

The sentiment is also SU and I would guess it’s easily 13 years old at least

We’re joining Color My Heart Color Dare and they have such a cute image to get Color inspiration from! Choose at least 3 colors from this picture

I did the teal, pink, orange, and green

Was so fun to give love to these old stamps and now I have a fun summer birthday card!

Thanks for stopping by! We hope you’ll visit Double Trouble and play along!

Masculine Happy Birthday

A new Double Trouble Challenge is up today! Let’s see cards for guys

So Thing 1 wants to see a masculine card and Thing 3 wants to see plaid or checker. Easy formula for a great card for the guy on your life!

Thing 2 has us partnering with Festive Friday and they have a fun list to choose from for elements on your card

If you use our Things challenges to do masculine and include plaid/checks, you’re pretty much there with it! Just choose one more, and you can enter their challenge too. I chose fishing!

It’s a great time to use this challenge to make a Father’s Day card! But for me, I needed a masculine birthday card so that’s what I went with. I never seem to have enough of those!

Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to head to Double Trouble for all the details to play along as well as the linkup

Feel Better!

Hello and happy Monday! I’m loving this beautiful May!

Double Trouble has a new challenge and we want to see you get “krafty”

As you see – Thing 1 wants to see kraft paper or a kraft bag on your project

And thing 3 wants to see you use an animal. I used these sweet critters from an MFT stamp set

I also love the dry embossing folder that I used on the kraft panel. It’s by Spellbinders.

Thing 2 has us teaming up with the Crafters Cafe challenge blog and their challenge is to use animals. So if you add one to your card, be sure to enter there as well!

Thank you for stopping by! Be sure to head to Double Trouble Challenge for more details to play along

Love

Today starts a new challenge at Double Trouble!

Thing 1 is having us get extra creative – include an element from a nursery rhyme!

I chose “pat-a-cake”

Thing 3 wants to see a heart, the word “heart” or the word “love”. The word “love” went perfect with the wedding cake!

I used some Stampin’ Up! stamps and dies from my stash and the colors were inspired by the Color Throwdown challenge

If you used Thing 3’s challenge on your card, you can also enter your card in our challenge partner’s link as well! Thing 2 has chosen Hearts Quest Challenge Blog

What nursery rhyme can you make an element on a card?

Thanks for stopping by to see my card based on the “Pat-a-cake” rhyme. Head to my Instagram to see the Reel of it coming together!

Have a wonderful weekend!
