Hello stamping friends! A challenge full of Halloween fun is up at Double Trouble today🎃

Thing 1 is having a “scrappers trick or treat” and wants to see what tricks you have for background techniques

I did one that I haven’t done in a while – ink smooshing. I also added water flicking, ink splatters, and some stamping. I was sure to include a couple of different images as that is what Thing 3 is looking for

I did make a video of me creating this card.. so if you’d like to see how to do this technique, be sure to check out my Instagram!

I have to admit something… I don’t really like Halloween! So I never purchase Halloween- specific products. The stamps I used today are from some REALLY old Stampin’ Up! sets that I still have in my stash. They worked great to make this project! And I really actually love the way it turned out

Thing 2 has us partnering with Park Hopping challenge. Would your card choose Disney cute? Or Universal scary? Mine would visit both. The spider is kind of cutesie (could never say that about a real spider!!) but the bats and Boo might be creepy!
Can’t wait to see your creations in the Double Trouble gallery

Your spider is so cute, Kellianne! I also love the colors in your background along with the bats. Great card.

Your background is terrific – smooshing always gives such cool results. Love it!Â

I love the look of a “smooshed” background! Super cute card, and I recognize that BOO sentiment from the first Paper Pumpkin kit I got from Stampin’ Up way back when I first started stamping (I still have mine too!)

I really enjoyed your reel on smooshing with the acetate… I know I was quite messy with a different technique so I’ll have to try that, and also your technique used for splattering, which is not usally in my comfort zone for fear of ruining the card. Your background turned out beautiful and love that little smiley spider, but like you say on paper, not in person.
