I’m so excited that I was picked by Sugarpea designs as one of their top 3 for their last challenge!

How exciting!

I was so excited to be invited to be a guest Club Ambassador for 2 months for the CPDesigns Club Sursee! This amazing floral bouquet came in the December Club Sursee and is just gorgeous.  Photo_1578346514148

I used paper from the Spring in Bloom paper pack and the little embellishments are from the Springfield sequin mix

And I love how perfectly the Melon Ice glitter matches! Added such a nice sparkle to this cardPhoto_1578346514569

So grateful I had the opportunity to play and share with these products! I will definitely be using them more in the future!

Then and Now

Happy New Year!! I had so fun sitting down to my stamp desk after the busy holiday season.  I pulled out one of my new stamp sets by Gina K to join in on her Monthly Mix Challenge for January!

Monthly-Mix-Badge-01-1024x469.jpg

The challenge is to take an old card and use at least one element from it to make a new card. I chose an old card that I made nearly 3 years ago. Here’s my “then” card

20200104_174212

I took the idea to put a floral arrangement on an oval with a die cut word and here’s my “now” card

Photo_1578190880365

I used the beautiful “Something Good” stamp set by Gina K as well as the “friend” die

Photo_1578190880649.jpg

I’ve always loved doing floral arrangements and have done several for different events.  Doing these types of cards reminds me of that other kind of designing I love to do!

And that’s my “then and now” for this challenge.  Thanks for stopping by to check it out!

Stamp Nation Weekend Color Challenge

When Erika, over at Stamp Nation, posted this weekend’s color challenge, I had to try it out!  It just looked so pretty to me!

Isn’t that gorgeous?!!

So I pulled out my November Club Sursee and used the “So Much Possibility” stamp set to add some pretty diamonds as a background.  Then I used the Boughs and Berries stamp set from the Catherine Pooler Christmas release to create some pretty foliage and flowers as a little cluster of these colors.

2 sn color challenge 12-16

I just love how it came together!  I would never have thought of these colors together.  In fact, I don’t think of grabbing blues and purples nearly enough! It was so fun to stretch myself with this challenge!

I love being part of Stamp Nation because of these challenges and the other fun things to be part of over there!

Happy Monday!  I hope you have a wonderful week!  I’ve got lots of fun stamping projects planned for this week and can’t wait to share!

Inky hugs

Snowman tag set

There was a bonus day for the 25 days of Christmas tags! Day 26 featured a company who has such cute images – Hello Bluebird!

I was totally inspired by the penguin tag set that Suzy Plantamura made for Day 26!  So stinkin cute!  So with that inspiration, I pulled out the “Little Frosties” set again and this time I made a set of tags. hello bluebird 7

Aren’t these little guys just so adorable!  Here are the tags one by one

Isn’t that die cut behind them perfect?! It’s the “Confetti Circle” by Simon Says Stamp

Snow Globe Tag

My creation today is for 2 challenges –

#1 – The 25 Days of Christmas Tags – Day 21 – I was very inspired by all the snow globe tags for that day!  There were several ladies who did them; Kara Pogreba, Mindy Eggen, Caly, Carol, Tracy McNealy, and Christy Reuling – they were all so adorable!

#2 – The Lawn Fawnatics monthly challenge “Fun with Dies”

And here’s my snow globe tag made using Lawn Fawn stamps and dies!

lawn fawnatics tag 3

The set is called “Ready Set Snow” and the coordinating dies make it so easy to put together super cute snow globes!

lawn fawnatics tag 2

I made a forest scene with sparkly, snow-covered pines

lawn fawnatics tag 4

There is an area on the back to fill in the “To: and From:” for the recipient.  And this tag is ready to be used on a card or attached to a gift!

Glitz gel love

I have found a new product love!!  I ordered this stuff out of curiosity and set it aside.  But then I pulled it out to play along with Gina K’s November challenge – which is “Let it Snow”

And I fell in LOVE!!!!!!  Look how pretty these snowflakes turned out using it!

gina k 16

The snowflakes are from the stencil for the mini wreath builder

gina k 15

And that “Merry Christmas” is probably my favorite Merry Christmas sentiment of all time.  That font is perfection!!!

gina k 18

The snowflakes in the background that I did emboss resist with are from the Gina K set called “Fun Year Round”.  Isn’t this stuff so pretty through a stencil?!!!

gina k 14

I did one of my speedy videos with this card so be sure to head to my Instagram to check that out!

Thanks for stopping by!

Have a wonderful day and a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Masculine Happy Birthday

I think we all agree that the cards we have least of in our stashes is masculine cards!  So with the Retro Rubber Challenge this week, I chose the bottom row across

RRCB 124

I used the stamp set “Open Sea” by Stampin Up!  It’s at least 6 years old but is still such an awesome stamp set for masculine cards!

retro masculine

I pieced all these images together to create a collage that is perfect for a guy.  The “Happy Birthday” label comes from another old Stampin’ Up! set called “Vintage Labels”.  It’s from Sale-a-bration like 10 years ago!

retro masculine 2

And that is why I have kept old sets that are favorites!

I’m glad to have another guy card in the stash!  I’ve been running extremely low!

CP designs Club Sursee!

I am so super excited to be a guest designer for the November Club Sursee by Catherine Pooler!

The products are so cute and fun and I was immediately drawn to the “Great Wings” set with these beautiful butterflies!

sursee gw2

You can see here that you’ve got the butterfly outline and then the solid stamps to fill them in.  I did a trifold card and stamped the outline on vellum so the pretty detail could be separated from the solid

sursee gw4

Isn’t that so pretty?!

sursee gw6

For my second card with this set, I used the “Just a Dash” coverplate that comes in the Sursee for November.

sursee gw5

Doesn’t it make such a cute background?!

The butterfly is embossed on vellum with another layer of vellum underneath that is stamped with the solid image and embossed heavily with several layers of the Flirty Fuscia embossing glitter.  It coordinates so pretty with the ink!

sursee gw8

I embossed that cute sentiment as well

Sursee great wings

And a very simple card with a lot of pop is finished!

sursee gw3

I love the products by Catherine Pooler!  And this monthly club just makes them all the more fun.  Be sure to check it out!

Yay for Friday!  Have a wonderful weekend!  I’ll have another post up on Monday with another look at November’s Club Sursee products.  There’s another super fun set to showcase!

:)Kellianne

Sparkly sparkly!

I was inspired by 2 challenges for today’s card

#1 – Try Stampin on Tuesday‘s sketch gave me the idea for the layout – where I switched that middle piece up to make it a circle

#2 – The Double Trouble Challenge blog had a really fun set of challenges up!  This is where I got my idea to go super sparkly.  The theme is “Bring on the Glitz” and that is exactly what I did!  They are also pairing up with Cupcake Inspirations with their “Use a Snowman” challenge

And my card features a very sweet little snowman!

glitz 2

And it is from the same set I used on my last card – “Little Frosties” by Hello Bluebird.  I’m still not ready to put that set away yet! 🙂  I am absolutely in love with it!

glitz

I got glitzy by using the Ranger “Snowflake Tinsel” embossing powder, glitter paper for the flagged piece, glittery dots around the snowman, and sparkly embellishments to top it off.

If you’d like to see this card come together and get a better look at the sparkle, don’t forget to visit my Instagram page for the recent post of it!
