There’s a new challenge up at Double Trouble!

Thing 1 wants to see all of your creative creases.  What fun folds do you know how to do?  I always love to see the crazy things people can do with this, but I usually keep my different and creative folds on the simple side

This is kind of a trifold type of different fold where 2 different flaps open before you get to the center

This also makes my card interactive, which is always fun to the receiver and is the theme of the current Lawn Fawn challenge

I used 2 of my older Lawn Fawn sets for this and I loved that some older stash could get some love! This was perfect for Thing 3’s challenge to use a hopping animal on your card.

I am so in love with all the cards I’m seeing in green and blue hues!  I saw this mood board at the Beautiful Blossoms challenge and there it was again – blues😍

So that was the decided color for my latest card

I went with a blue that had a bit more of a tealy hue to it

To add more elements and interest to my card, I drew more inspiration from the Tic Tac Toe challenge board

I went with the bottom row – colored my flowers with Zig markers, and I dry embossed the label behind the arch as well as heat embossed the sentiment

I used the beautiful Be Strong stamps and coordinating die by PinkFresh Studio

I made a Reel of this one coming together.  Had to my Instagram to check it out!

It’s that time of year for lots of love! And I have another love card for our fun challenge over at Double Trouble starting today! Because Love is in the air!

Thing 1 waves to see a Valentine or Things that fly. I chose valentine

Color Dare is our challenge partner and wants you to pick 3 colors from this Color Board

I chose the pink green and red

I couldn’t decide how to lay out my pieces so I went through some sketch challenges for inspiration. I landed on this one from Just Add Ink

I really liked this layout. I made it into a mini slimline, and it came together just right

I used the Love Story stamps and dies from Close to my Heart. And the border dies are from the mini slim set by Spellbinders. That’s my valentine card for this time around!

Hello stamping friends! Life has been quite the whirlwind for the last couple of weeks! I sent my sweet daughter off on a mission yesterday

I’m going to miss her so much! I will see her again in 18 months❤️

With that – in coming in a day late on the new challenge over at Double Trouble. But it’s everyone’s favorite – Something Anything Everything by Thing 1!

Thing 3 wants to see some musical notes

I used a combination of different Lawn Fawn sets to bring this sweet lovey card together

I used “A birdie told me”, “Home sweet Home”, and “Lovin Breakfast”. I love how all Lawn Fawn stamp sets easily go together to make any cards!! With all this love on my card, I’m entering it there in the Lawn Fawn challenge too

I’m definitely sending this card to my daughter as her first piece of mail on her mission!

Thing 2 says to go look at our previous partners and play along there, too! I chose Festive Friday. Look at this fun list

My card is mini slimline and includes a love sentiment (3 actually! ❤️), hearts, and birds. So I actually included 4 from the list. So fun!

I made a card today using a different-for-me style, white on white!

I always love to be challenged with a new idea that I don’t normally use in stamping. This one definitely did that!

I used dies by Spellbinders to bring this card together. No stamping! Most of the products were actually in my Spellbinders advent box that I got before Christmas. So I don’t have names for some of them. But here’s some pictures!

Then I used the arched frames dies as well as the Candlewick Rectangles for the outside frame

Of course I added just a hint of a very subtle blue and green shading to give a tiny hint of contrast. I love the way it turned out!

A new challenge starts today at Double Trouble!

Lots of fun little challenges and twists in this one!

First – Thing one would like to see stencils and/or embossing folders. I went with the embossing folder for the background of my card

Next – include a winter sports item from Thing 3. Walnut shell as a sled and an ice skate as one too! These little mice sure look like they are having fun! An option to try adding – a hat.

Their little hats are so cute, yes?! I added snow texture paste to the hills to give a realistic snow look

If you completed both of those things, you can also enter your card in the Farm Quest challenge!

I’m back with another card using the Lovely Layers Winter Birds dies by Honeybee.

I absolutely love looking out my bedroom window where the cardinals come to enjoy some bird seed! They are such pretty birds. I love how these dies have all the details of them in the layers

I blended each layer with different shades of red for dimension and depth. My idea for design came from the mood board at the Four Seasons challenge. I love the bird, the snow, the branches and snowflakes!

In addition to the Winter Birds dies, I also used the Seasonal Frame and Layering Snowflakes, and Winter Greenery dies – all by Honeybee Stamps. And all new to me for my birthday last month!!

I got lots of new goodies for my birthday that I am excited to use. But when I saw the challenge at Time Out with the prompt of “New” – I knew I wanted to use these new dies first to play along

I love the way that all these different die sets coordinate so well to bring this pretty card together! The blending in the background is Iced Spruce and Stormy Sky. I love the soft wintery look it gives

I am so excited that I got to play with some birthday goodies I got a month ago! I am so in love with this die set called Lovely Layers Winter Birds

I was inspired by the color challenge at TGIF for my design

I love the gold, silver, and black combo with this sweet bird

At Simon Says Stamp, the Monday challenge is “A new start” using Brutus Monroe products. So I pulled out my embossing powders for that. And this is a very January- weather-type card to start this new year!

I love this set so much, I have another beautiful card to share tomorrow that I made for a couple other challenges! Be sure to come back and visit to see that one too.

I hope that this year is full of lots of stamping!! I feel like my 2023 had very minimal stamping time for me. But it was a full year of many things with my big family and I’ve loved it.

Thing 1 wants to see the background personalities. Will it be bold and bright? Or calm and soft? I chose calm and soft

I used Catherine Pooler stamps and dies for my card. I love this background die!

Thing 3 wants to see you use the sketch from Try a Sketch on Tuesday

I adapted the sketch a little bit. I made the back piece sit as a square orientation instead of diamond. And I made the top piece more long, rather than square. I also moved the sentiment up onto the shapes. I love shifting a sketch up to fit a design!

Hello stamping friends! I love this gorgeous stamp set from Close to my Heart. And the large main image is so pretty! So what would you say? Is it a Snowflake or a flower?

We’ll call it a Snowflake flower ❄️ is made from stamping and embossing the image in white on vellum. I then colored it from behind.

This card is for the new challenge up at Double Trouble

Thing 1 wants to see dies! I used lots on my card. The Snowflake flower is fussy cut, but everything else is dies – the arches, the background pattern, the edges, and the center snowflakes

Thing 3 is saying “wrap it up!” Let’s see bows, ribbons, twine, washi, etc. I used pretty silver ribbon to top my panel

Thing 2 has us partnering with the Use Your Stuff “wrap it up” challenge. So, if you use Thing 3’s twist, be sure to share over there too
