Rustic floral
Today I am sharing a card that was inspired by some wedding floral I just did. Her bouquet was so pretty and had a nice rustic touch. And when I saw the Paper Craft Crew card challenge, it was the perfect time to pull my idea together!

I used products by My Favorite Things, amuse studio and Reverse Confetti.Â
I must add that I even pulled out an old Stampin’ Up! set with the year 1992 on it!! Yes, I still have sets that old. I have 2 shelves of some wood mounted sets that I will probably refuse to ever get rid of because I liked them so much! It that pine needle and pine cone touch on the card that I used the set for.
I also found another card challenge blog that I’m excited to follow! It’s the TGIF challenges and looks like a really fun weekly challenge to participate in, with lots of encouragement to use these cards we are making for something simple and great with their kindness project! I will be sending this card out as my R.A.C.K. to the lady I did the wedding floral for. Her and her husband are in the military together and that touches a special place in our hearts for those out fighting for our freedoms.
Truly, they are simply fabulous for all they do!!

And that’s my card – for 2 different challenges – for today! Have I ever said card challenges are my favorite?! I can’t get enough of them. I’ve got 5 more on my mind and can’t wait to go create and pull something together with the great ideas these card challenge bloggers come up with!

Have a wonderful day!

All that texture stuff in the background is from the Bitty Grunge stamps and stencils set by Tim Holtz

Wink of Stella always adds a nice touch and I especially loved it on these cacti! Cacti? Is that a word lol! I haven’t used it forever.

I love using the Freshly Made Sketches because I tend to love things clean and simple!

It was fun to do! I’ve always been a little too nervous to try watercolor for a background. But that’s what a challenge is all about, right? It was time to be brave lol. I stamped the cute little heart, star and flower images (A Birdie Told Me) on top of the dried watercolor to create the background.

Good Ol’ Stella. She represents so many of us! Ready to stamp at any given moment possible!! 🙂 I love love love this hobby and have for more than half of my life. It’s fun to be sharing it now through this blog and on my

And that’s my first “Foil Mates” card! I can’t wait to play with it all again and I hope I get better and better at it! But either way, peeling that pretty foil up to reveal the shine is just awesome!
