Get well soon

Another hot cocoa card is ready to send for get well wishes! The Coffee Lover’s challenge is so fun because it’s prizes are based on participation and not just comments. So I love to support it!

This one uses the same set as I used for my card a couple of days ago – Catherine Pooler’s Pumpkin Season

I was inspired by the sketch over at Atlantic Hearts Sketch challenge for my layout

I’ve been seeing a bit of pink added to fall cards lately and I’ve loved it! So I did the same thing with this and it’s kind of a fun, alternate look for Fall

Thanks for stopping by today! I have another one ready for tomorrow so I hope to see you here again❤️

Cornucopia thanks

Hello! It’s feeling like Fall and it’s so beautiful! Double Trouble has a new challenge up to get another Autumn card done

This one is asking for some fun twists! Let’s start with Thing 1. She’d like to see a 3-2-1 recipe to a happy harvest! That’s 3 pattern papers, 2 embellishments, and 1 Thanksgiving image

Thing 3 wants us to use the TSOT sketch

So with all those things in mind, I used this cute cornucopia image by Catherine Pooler and made my Thanksgiving card

The 3 pattern papers take me a long time to figure out because I always want it to coordinate well. I think these 3 papers came together well with the image all colored up

If you made a card that also used that sketch, be sure to share it with both Double Trouble and TSOT!

Thanks for stopping by today and we can’t wait to see your creation in the gallery!

I love Fall!

Hi everyone! Today starts a fun bonus challenge that Double Trouble is participating in. It’s the Coffee Lovers blog hop

To play along, Thing 1 says to make a card that has a coffee, tea, or hot cocoa theme

Thing 3 would like to see a random pun related to your warm drink, but I don’t have one of those! So a simple “I love fall” will have to do

My color inspiration came from The Card Concept

I love those pretty, regal tones!

I used stamps and dies from Catherine Pooler for this one. The set is called Pumpkin Season. It’s got the cutest fall drink cups in it, and I have another card in the works with it for this fun challenge!

As mentioned before, Thing 2 has us partnering with the fabulous Coffee Lover’s Blog Hop! So be sure to link your card there too

Last, but not least – something extra fun – blog candy! Double Trouble will be picking from the comments on their main blog post to hand out some of this fun blog candy. I will be donating a 4 x 6 stamp set toward the prizes! So be sure to leave a comment there for your chance.

Happy warm drink stamping!

Hello December

Happy Monday! Can’t believe we’re to the end of October! Today’s card is one to be ready for December and it’s to play along with the new challenge up over at Double Trouble

Thing 1 wants to see something, anything, everything! This is always a favorite among participants. Thing 3 is giving the challenge to narrow it down just a tiny bit by using a circle on your card

I used stamps and dies by Concord and 9th for my design. I chose my colors based on the Color Dare challenge. Thing 2 is asking everyone to choose a previous partner of any choice, and I loved their Christmasy color palette

Using these colors did get me excited for all the pretty colors and florals of the Christmas season coming up!

Head over to Double Trouble for more details and to pick one of our previous partners to take their challenge! Have fun stamping, and I’m excited to see all the cards in the gallery!

Thanks for stopping by to see mine!

Thanks!

Hello and happy Saturday! Every single day, I look through what different things are going on with card challenges. I love them! I love to see the different ideas they put out there for our creativity to stretch. These 2 challenges caught my eye and inspired today’s design

Tic Tac Toe – I chose the 3rd column

Thanks, enamel dots, and leaves/foliage

The other challenge that inspired me was TGIF

I love leaves! So their layered leaves excited me and I loved the layout of the challenge graphic too

My leaves and foliage are from a die set called “Sprigs” by Scrapbook.com and the Thanks stamp is by them as well. I placed them all on a dry embossed panel that had a nice matte behind it, created with a Spellbinders border die.

Thank you for stopping by to check out my card!

What are your favorite challenges?

Monochromatic snowmen

Hello and happy Sunday! When I saw the current challenge at Lawn Fawn, I knew I wanted to play along!

I haven’t made a monochromatic card in a long time!

These darling little snowmen are from the Lawn Fawn set “Ready Set Snow”

With some foliage and snowflakes and sparkles all around the background, I love how these little guys stand out as the main focal point of my card

It’s fun to just work with one color and see how cool a card can turn out! I’m glad Lawn Fawn reminded me of the monochrome idea.

Birthday Wishes floral

Today starts a new challenge over at Double Trouble, and it’s my favorite kind – FLORAL!

Thing 1 wants to see you use florals. But before you jump into it – make sure you don’t reach for pattern paper!

I used dies by Spellbinders on my card. I love working with floral and foliage. On cards, and in real life! In fact, fun fact about me – I’ve done floral for many weddings and proms! I also love doing wreaths and home decor. But by far my favorite is floral on cards!

Thing 3 says to add an insect to your card. I chose a butterfly – so easy to go with floral

The technique I used for the floral was die cutting it and then water coloring each blossom

It turned out to be a pretty fancy birthday card! And I love it!

Thing 2 has us partnering with Crafters Cafe. So if you make a floral card, be sure to enter it there too!

Thanks for stopping by to see my card today!

Loads of Pumpkins

Lots of fun Fall challenges going on! And I’m seeing so many pretty cards. I made this one to participate in 3 different challenges that inspired me!

First, I loved the Four Seasons mood board. I especially loved the wagon full of pumpkins!

I also took the challenge over at Paper Funday to focus on yellow, orange, and green

The final challenge that inspired my card is The Card Concept. Their theme is “Autumn Chill”

The colors of Autumn are so beautiful. They don’t last long! But I love the. While they last!

World Cardmaking Day!

Hi stamping friends! How fun is it that we have a day dedicated to us and our fabulous hobby!! If you follow me, you know I absolutely LOVE card challenges. I love playing along with various ones. I love being on the design team for the Double Trouble Challenge and I’ll shop more with the companies who have challenges! They inspire us to use the products we buy and I really appreciate that.

So yesterday, when I saw that PinkFresh Studio did a challenge for World Cardmaking day – I was IN!!

I went through my stash of beautiful PinkFresh products and decided on this one that I haven’t used in forever. It’s called Inked Florals

I did some emboss resist. I embossed the floral images in white and then water colored over them

I also used some PinkFresh dies that went perfect with the design I had in mind. The Simply Diamonds background die as well as the Classic Tags with fillable elements. I LOVE this tag die set. It’s got so many versatile pieces!

Check out my Instagram for a Reel of how I did the flowers and the full card coming together if you’d like to see!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you got to stamp yesterday too!
