I love you more than cupcakes!

Happy New Year stamping friends! I can hardly believe we are to 2026. I have been stamping a lot lately and I’ve been loving it extra!! Today’s card is for the new challenge up at Double Trouble

Here’s the recipe and my take! (Remember you can use more – these are just the minimum requirement)

3 colors – I used more!

2 squares – I did 9!

1 sentiment – “I love you more than cupcakes”

Thing 3 says to use at least 2 squares. This background die by My Favorite Things was just perfect for these sweet cupcakes. There’s 9 different flavors to go in these 9 squares!

I miss seeing all the sweetness from My Favorite Things.  But I have an amazing stash from them and I will continue to use it!  These cupcakes are so cute!

What’s your favorite flavor of cupcake? Did I include it? I’m not a huge fan of cupcakes but my sister makes these Texas sheetcake cupcakes that are incredible. I’d pick those!

See you in a couple days with another card💕💌

Seashell Hugs

A new challenge at Double Trouble is up today and it’s everyone’s favorite – something, anything,  everything! My card today features something I love as much as stamps and dies – seashells! 🐚

For Thing 1’s recipe just pick what your 3-2-1 items will be and have fun!  Mine is seashells, soft colors, and one ribbon to go along with Thing 3’s option of adding ribbon, twine, or cord. My ribbon is an adorable paper ribbon by The Greetery!

I was also inspired by the Simon Says Stamp Instagram challenge to make a card using dies. My card is all dies!  (With the exception of the tiny hugs sentiment on the tag)

These adorable seashells are by Honeybee Stamps and that GORGEOUS 3D embossing folder is from Simon Says Stamp.  Look at the embossed detail of those shells 🐚I’m so in love with every element on this card!

That Greetery ribbon might just be the best ribbon die cut I have ever seen!  I love it so much!  Something fun I did with it was cut it out of a piece of the same green card stock that I had dry embossed with a different folder.  It gave it some subtle texture

I was just on the beach in the Florida Keys with my hubby weeks ago collecting seashells and having a blast.  Making this card was almost as fun as doing that! For fun, I’ll share my frames that I just finished of the shells we found on that trip🐚🪸

So until I can go shelling again, making cards with shells will have to do, which is so fun too

Thanks for stopping by to see my card today!

Floral and Snowflakes

I got some fabulous new goodies for my birthday yesterday! I couldn’t even fall asleep last night because I was having so much fun die cutting, coloring and just enjoying all of it so much.

My first finished card is one that I made using the Lovely Layers mini Holiday Floral by Honeybee Stamps. There’s also a few of the Layering Snowflakes dies as well

I haven’t played along at one of my favorite for awhile – The Flower Challenge.  Their latest prompt inspired my card. As well as the Honeybee Facebook challenge to make a Christmas card

Florals are always my favorite! These wintery flowers and snowflakes came together to make such a pretty bunch

I love the touch of pink.  It’s a new favorite on Christmas cards for me!  I think the pinecones mixed in with the flowers are so cute too

The Merry Christmas banner across the front is from The Greetery

Thanks for stopping by to see my card today!  I already have a few more cards in the works because I’m having so fun at my stamp desk right now!  So I’ll be back soon!

Happy Birthday

New challenge up at Double Trouble!

Recipe by Thing 1 is

3 colors 2 layers 1 image (you can always use more than these, but these are the minimum)

I used stamps and several different dies, all by Catherine Pooler. The layout is inspired by the sketch at TSOT, which Thing 2 always encourages to play along with!

I loved making those 2 background rectangles into tags and then adding ribbon to go along with the option by Thing 3. (Ribbon, twine, or cord)

I added some Old Paper distress ink as a bit of a “tea stain” to the entire card, especially the background

Thanks for stopping by to see my card today!  We hope you’ll play along.  Go to Double Trouble all the details and the link up💕

Sweet Treats!

Happy Monday!  Time for a new challenge at Double Trouble

Thing 1 has a “tall order” with her recipe

3 colors 2 images 1 slimline or mini slim.  I chose mini slim

Thing 3 is throwing in a fun optional twist to include something that starts with T. My card includes a TABLE with TREATS.

I used stamps and dies by Honeybee Stamps, and the cute edged mini slim die is from Kat Scrappiness. At this angle, you can see that there’s a touch of glitter on the umbrella and ice cream treats

Thing 2 has another option to play along with the sketch at TSOT

I did watercolor as the background on the left side to match the sketch, and then I moved the sentiment to the bottom

Pull out your slimline products and join along!

You make a difference!

I’m right back with another card! I had so fun over the weekend getting to stamp more than usual!  I hadn’t played with my PinkFresh Studios stash for a while, and I love their October challenge board!

I got going so I could jump in on it.  I went with the first 3 colors and made a fall card

Those beautiful frames, as well as the floral images and coordinating dies are all from PinkFresh.  The sentiment is from a different PinkFresh set and went perfect for the person in sending it to

The theme of their challenge is “texture and shine,” so i was sure to add lots of both!  I didn’t have any gold paper left in my stash, so I actually just die cut those frames and then embossed them with gold!

I loved adding all the texture and dimension and shine! This turned out so pretty for this autumn time of year🤎🍂

Thank you for stopping by!

You’re amazing

Here is an autumn card to say you’re amazing!

Today starts the new “Round and Round” challenge at Double Trouble

Here’s the 3-2-1 recipe by Thing 1

3 circles, 2 images, 1 ribbon, twine, cord, etc

And here’s my card! 🤎

Thing 3 says to add a bird and Thing 2 is sharing the sketch from TSOT as a preview for their challenge that starts tomorrow

All these elements to this challenge inspired the different ideas for my design

My die cut images are from Honeybee Stamps. I did cut them all and did watercolor to color them.  I arranged them all on the 3 circles and added some watercolor splatter for more interest.

Another autumn card for the stash!

We hope you’ll play along with us.  Check out the details and inspiration at Double Trouble 🤎

Thanks for stopping by today!

Happy Fall Ya’ll!

It’s that beautiful time of year when the warm fall colors are everywhere!  And Double Trouble wants to see them with the new challenge!

Here is the recipe from Thing 1-.

3 fall colors, 2 images, 1 stenciled or dry embossed element

Thing 3 wants to see an autumn fruit or veggie.  This little set of pumpkins and squash are from a very old Stampin Up set!  The sentiment is from a Kat Scrappiness set and the dry embossing folder is by Spellbinders

Thing 2 has the Double Dare to play along with TSOT or the alternate challenge “Pearly Sparkles”. I chose the latter and added pretty brown pearls around the pumpkins

We can’t wait to see all the pretty autumn cards that get entered in the link at Double Trouble!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Lattice Get Well

Hello!  Here we are at the end of September and I can hardly believe it!

Double Trouble has a new challenge today and it’s everyone’s favorite – Anything Goes!

It’s always fun to hear Thing 1 say “make something anything everything!”

I used some Spellbinders dies and made a Get Well card.

Thing 3 gives the option to use the sketch from TOST. This is a sneak peek today, as this challenge doesn’t start until tomorrow!

That design on the sketch reminded me of lattice and that’s where I got my inspiration to make a lattice panel covered in flowers

Thing 2 gives the option of using any other challenge.  I love how Double Trouble supports other challenge blogs!  I saw that over at the As You Like It challenge, they are asking what your favorite die is and why. For me – florals!! I love floral dies because I can cut a bunch and arrange them all pretty using different colors and styles.  Which I love to do with fall floral too!

But with dies, I can do floral arrangements much more often on cards and color them any color I want through different techniques.  The floral on the lattice I made today was colored by sponging with different coordinating inks.

Head to Double Trouble for the link to add whatever you have created!  We can’t wait to see all the designs in the gallery.

Thanks for stopping by!

Simple doodle thank you

Happy Monday!  Here’s the new challenge starting today with Double Trouble

Thing 1 wants to see your doodle images!  You can hand draw these or stamp them. Use 3 to meet the recipe requirements.  Also be sure to use 2 layers and add 1 sentiment. More is ok for any of the recipe if you want to use more!

I made a very clean and simple card.  Inspired by the sketch at TSOT , which Thing 2 is encouraging.  Their sketch will go live soon, this is just a sneak peek!

I patterned my card after that style except for the sentiment, which I moved up by the doodles

Thing 3 says to use a punch of color.  I chose to do plum and kept it mostly monochromatic to keep with the CAS style

Can’t wait to see the doodle images that all participants use on their cards!  The cute little doodle images on my card are from a very old set by Stampin Up! called “Doodle That”. I haven’t used it for years!  I love that this challenge inspired me to pull it out
